the reality of our existence
The Bible will quite often talk about situations where things seems irrational in the Old testament. It will say something like the Lord discomfited the enemy, or a small number of people destroy some vast army. What this fails to tell you is that we all have soul energy. And that energy is heavily influenced by each other and by spiritual forces attacking us. It's going on all the time. In fact there's some indication in the Bible that spiritual forces will influence humanity for all of eternity. In Revelation chapter 21 it states that there is a new heaven and a new Earth. Then it goes on to say that God and Jesus will live here for all of eternity on the new Earth. Why is there a need for a new heaven? If everybody's here who's going to be in heaven? Well it wouldn't surprise me if the spiritual forces of good are there helping moderate the attitudes and behaviors of humanity for all of eternity. Now the Bible doesn't plainly State this but it is obvious from my own experiences and from what it talks about in the Old testament and even the New testament where demons are attacking people constantly that spiritual forces are playing a massive role and how things turn out. Quite often the spiritual influences are very evil and end up leading to a disaster. For example at the beginning of Job God calls on Satan to find some way to turn Job to do evil. Satan comes up with two different ideas, which basically have disastrous effects in Job's life. Well, we have the same Satan and the same God today. The only difference is Jesus is there as our advocate. Another place in the Old testament describes the death of Ahab. God calls a counsel of angels to determine how to get Ahab killed, and an evil angel says, I know I'll be a lying spirit in the mouth of his false prophets and they will convince him to go to war and he'll get killed in war. God says that's a good plan, that's how we'll get rid of him.
